There will be ice sculptures, chili tasting, food and drink specials featured in the pub slide, the cardboard sled race, ice skating, curling, horse-drawn wagon rides, a snowsuit fashion contest, the 'Break the Ice 5k,' and the annual fling a frozen fish contest? The South Haven Art Annual Fine Arts Fair, organized by the South Haven Center for the Arts, is held every summer and attracts massive Fourth of July crowds to a beautiful wooded park, just one block away from Lake Michigan’s sandy shores. The juried art fair as a two day event, Saturday and Sunday, June 27 & 28. This is the longest running event in the region featuring 120 artists, Michigan food, live music and over 40,000 attendees!

4th of July Parade

South Haven's 4th of July Parade is held annually in downtown South Haven. The parade begins at South Haven High School and proceeds north on Kalamazoo St, east on Huron, south on Broadway, west on Michigan and south on Center St. back to the High School. Prime viewing area in downtown is along Huron St. (near the Pavilion). Starts promptly at 11am. For information on participating in the parade, contact coordinator John Deschaine at (269) 637-1121.
